EW premiered – in its magazine first, then the web today – two new stills from “Barely Lethal”, the upcoming Kyle Newman-directed action-comedy starring Hailee Steinfeld as a former teen assassin.
The Fall release, also starring Jessica Alba, Samuel L.Jackson, and Sophie Turner, features Steinfeld in the lead role as a young international assassin who yearns for a “normal” existence so fakes her own death and enrols in high school. An old nemesis tracks her down – as they do – with plans not to let ‘hit girl’ escape so quietly into the night.
