“Happy Endings” reunion alert! Carey Wilson will reunite with the show’s creator David Caspe on a new sitcom, “Marry Me” (Deadline).

Jason Reitman (“Labor Day”) will direct ”The Possibilities”, based on a book by “The Descendents” novelist Kaui Hart. ”Set in a Colorado ski town, the story follows a grieving mother struggling to overcome her son’s death. She’s visited by a strange girl with a secret that will change them both.” (The Hollywood Reporter)

Rawson Marshall Thurber (“We’re the Millers”) will direct a film based on the “Choose Your Own Adventure” books. “Night at the Museum” scribes Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon wrote the screenplay (The Hollywood Reporter).

Here’s a couple of fun Superbowl ads; the first one features Brit movie guys Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong pitching ‘Jaguar’, while the next serves as a “Full House” reunion, and then there’s an automobile-plug from The Muppets and an Expendable.



Alexandre Moors (“Blue Caprice”) will direct a remake of the Korean film “Failan”, ”about a young woman who enters into an arranged marriage with a gangster she’s never met and connects with him via a series of letters. In the English-language adaptation scripted by Jose Rivera (Motorcycle Diaries), the setting is updated to America where the young woman is now a Russian immigrant caught up in human trafficking operation run by mobsters in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn.” (Deadline)

“Captain America : The Winter Soldier” directors Joe and Anthony Russo will direct the next sequel in the superhero series, too. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Legendary Hollywood producer Robert Evans is working on a cable series about Hollywood in the ’70s. “Set in the ’70s with a creative tone similar to Casino, it involves the last days before studios were taken over by conglomerates, when they were run by wily entrepreneurs, and where there was a mob influence, drugs, sex, excess, casting couches, and some of the best movies made in the 20th century. The protagonist is an outsider who against the odds rises to become a king in Hollywood in a tale of power, legacy, and the American dream.” (Deadline)

John Noble and Lyndie Greenwood have been upped to regulars on “Sleepy Hollow” (Deadline)

CBS has greenlit the pilot for a new Kevin Williamson (“Scream”, “The Following”) series about “a pair of detectives who handle stalking incidents for the Threat Management Unit of the LAPD” (Deadline)
