Might popstress Katy Perry be hanging onto the oversized arms of Vin Diesel next Summer?
The action star hints that Perry -her music of which he’s on record as saying he’s a big fan of – might be approached to play the love interest in the new “xXx” movie.
“xXx : The Return of Xander Cage”, which has been in the works for a few years now, is finally showings signs of life. Diesel tells Facebook fans the script will be finished next month. It’s then, we assume, he’ll try and coax the ‘Dark Horse’ singer into doing his movie (he does realise she’s about to embark on a 12-month tour, right?). Though she hasn’t yet established herself as an actress, Perry has lent her voice to two “Smurfs” movies, taking on the role of Smurfette.

Diesel’s definitely big on sequels these days; he’s currently working on a seventh “Fast & Furious” and yesterday announced he’s developing a fourth “Riddick” movie.
