Eddie Redmayne set for Hooper’s Danish Girl

British actor Eddie Redmayne is set to star in “The Danish Girl”.

The pic, inspired by one of the first men to undergo a sex change, reunites Redmayne with his “Les Miserables” director Tom Hooper.

The Working Title romantic drama is based on David Ebershoff’s novel of the same name. It centres on Danish painter Einar Wegener and his wife Gerda as Einar transforms into Lili Elbe, having undergone a sex change in the year 1930.

Lucinda Coxon penned the script.

Redmayne recently starred alongside Michelle Williams in “My Week with Marilyn”. You can also catch him in the soon-to-be-released sci-fi adventure “Jupiter Ascending”.
