With “The Expendables” franchise looking about as broke as Twitter security, no surprise to hear Sylvester Stallone’s rapidly jumped onto a smoother-sailing ship.
The on-again off-again on-again fifth “Rambo” movie is inching towards the cameras – in fact, it films next month, according to Coming Soon.
Like the previous instalment, Stallone writes, directs and stars (as America’s best-known bandana salesman) in the film – said to be titled “Rambo : Last Blood”. Hopefully the script, which is said to be encompass a tale more akin to “No Country for Old Men” than “Expendables 3” (joke! I know there wasn’t a script for that! save your emails, haters!), has had a bit more thought put into it than the title.
Time to bring back Brian Dennehy, Sly.
