Details below!

Tuesday, September 23, 2014 – Via Vision Entertainment is pleased to announce the release of The Evil Dead Anthology. For the first time ever Sam Raimi’s seminal horror trilogy The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness will be available together with the 2013 big budget reimagining Evil Dead.

Release streets November 26.

Since it first premiered in 1981 Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead and subsequent sequels ushered in a new dawn for terror-laden havoc, gruesome special effects, unbridled physicality and the one man wrecking crew that is Bruce Campbell. As the wisecracking, shotgun-toting college student Ash, Campbell, in close collaboration with Raimi, created an instant cult icon.

From the cabin in the woods to the medieval battlefield, The Evil Dead Anthology celebrates this enduring cult classic. In the ultimate boxed set for horror fans and pop culture enthusiasts, each film receives an individual Blu-ray release. That’s 4 Blu Ray discs plus an additional 3 DVDs devoted to the rare and previously unreleased bonus material PLUS the documentary Invaluable which highlights the talents of the original Evil Dead special effects designer and illustrator, Tom Sullivan. Adding to the collectability and authenticity, Tom Sullivan has also sculpted a replica of The Kandarian and the ‘Book of the Dead’ that features 16 of his original drawings all housed inside a cardboard display box. With commentaries from Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Robert Tapert, in depth documentaries, treasures from the cutting room floor, interviews with Raimi, featurettes on the music, the marketing and a profile on Campbell, reunion panels and more this is the ultimate Evil Dead collector’s edition.

Remember how it begins: A secluded cabin. An ancient curse. An unrelenting evil.
