“The Expendables” scribe Dave Callaham will write the script for Sony’s “Zombieland” sequel.
Ruben Fleischer will return to helm “Zombieland 2”.
Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin starred as survivors attempting to outlast the living dead in the 2009 original comedy. It isn’t yet known if any of these stars will return.
At the time of the first film’s release, director Fleischer (who went on to direct “Gangster Squad”) told Moviehole he’d like to film the follow-up in 3D.
