Amazing Spider-Man 3 casting call?

After all those leaked emails out of the Sony corp – pertaining to not only rebooting the “Spider-Man” franchise but recasting the character for his prospective appearances in some future Marvel/Disney movies – this one’s a little hard to believe. Nevertheless, casting firm Bill Beckham Casting (via Comic Book Movie) has announced a casting call for a second sequel to Marc Webb’s “The Amazing Spider-Man”.

The new film, according to the casting sheet, would see Andrew Garfield return as the title character and Dane De Haan as Harry Osborn. And I’m betting that’s news to them, too.

The project, listed as “The Amazing Spider-Man 3′, is looking for all sorts of extras to fill slots in scenes to be shot in Atlanta, Georgia. Apparently.

I’m not investing too much belief into this puppy though – particularly since Bill Beckham Casting’s page for “Independence Day 2” – which, yes, is a real project – lists ‘Will Smith’ and ‘Tommy Lee Jones’ as it’s stars. Umm.. wrong science-fiction franchise, folks.
