Christine Taylor will reprise her role of Matilda Jeffries in the long-gestating sequel to “Zoolander”.
The actress confirmed her involvement to EW – but couldn’t say any more than that.
“I can tell you that I’m involved, but that’s all I can say. I can tell you it’s happening, but I can’t tell you where Matilda’s at and where their relationship is at. It’s all top secret!”
Taylor is, of course, star/co-writer/director Ben Stiller’s wife so it’d be surprising if she’d been given the pink slip from the follow-up.
The film, which has been in the works for quite a while, would seem to be further along than ever – evident by the fact that Penelope Cruz recently signed on and Will Ferrell confirmed that he’s not only onboard but has already done a roundtable read of the script with his co-stars.
In addition to Stiller, Owen Wilson is expected to return as Hansel.
