It doesn’t seem like Rosamund Pike will be saying goodbye to Fox anytime soon.
Pike is in talks to join the studio’s Christian Bale starer “The Deep Blue Good-by”, reports Variety.
The film is adapted from John D. MacDonald’s book about Bale’s character Travis McGee, a self-described “salvage consultant” who recovers others’ property for a fee and along the way gets into trouble fighting bad guys and wooing women.
James Mangold is directing from a script by Dennis Lehane with Scott Frank currently working on the latest draft.
