More superheros are coming our way with an “Arrow” and “The Flash” spinoff series in the works over at The CW.
Deadline reports that the thus-far untitled series will be “a superhero team-up show” with characters from the two aforementioned hero shows making appearances.
Actors Brandon Routh, Victor Garber, Wentworth Miller and Caity Lotz will appear as Ray Palmer/The Atom (Routh in “Arrow”), Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Miller in “The Flash) and Dr. Martin Stein (Garber in “The Flash”).
As for Lotz’ character in the spinoff, well that remains a mystery following her character Sara Lance’s death on “Arrow”. Whether she’ll return as Sara in a flashback capacity or appear as an entirely new character remains anyone’s guess.
The Deadline report also suggests that “the new project will include three major DC Comics characters who have never appeared in a TV series”.
Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim and Sarah Schechter will exec produce the new show.
