“Home Alone” director Chris Columbus is producing a film based on graphic novel “I Kill Giants”, says Deadline.
Short filmmaker and Oscar winner Anders Walter (“Helium”) will make his feature directorial debut on the movie, which tells of a young misfit battling real and imagined monsters.
The book’s author Joe kelly is writing the screenplay.
Treehouse Pictures, 1429/Ocean Blue Entertaiunment, Man of Action Entertainment, and XYZ Films are financing.
Casting is already underway, with cameras set to roll this year.
