Australia’s Ben Mendlesohn, currently impressing Netflix subscribers with his terrific portrayal of the mysterious ‘Danny’ on “Bloodline”, is circling “Star Wars” spin-off “Rogue One”.
According to Deadline, the “Animal Kingdom” star is mulling over an offer to join Felicity Jones in the Gareth Edwards-directed space blockbuster. No details on who Mendelsohn might play in the film, which is due out 2016.
Rumour has it that the film, set before “A New Hope”, is somewhat of a heist movie, and involves Han Solo and Boba Fett.
