ABC cancels Revenge

ABC’s “Revenge” is coming to an end with the May 10 season four finale set to double as the series finale.

“We can officially tell our fans that this will be the end of the story,” said executive producer Sunil Nayar. “We’ve been talking to the network and we all just wanted to make sure that we felt very confident. Now that everybody has seen the finale—which is fabulous—everybody understands that as much as we all adore the show, it has hit exactly the mark it needed to to end. This is the series finale of Revenge that will be airing in a couple weeks.””We can officially tell our fans that this will be the end of the story,” said executive producer Sunil Nayar. “We’ve been talking to the network and we all just wanted to make sure that we felt very confident. While story-wise it makes sense for the show to finish up now (with Emily VanCamp’s Emily Thorne getting about as much revenge as she possibly could, and with her revengee Victoria now dead), it’s also been speculated that VanCamp’s shooting schedule for “Captain America: Civil War”could have come into play (though her involvement in the sequel hasn’t technically been confirmed yet).

Anyway, you can catch VanCamp in “Revenge” for the final time when the series finale airs on May 10 at 10pm.
