CBS has officially greenlit “Supergirl”, Greg Berlanti’s small-screen revamp of Kara’s angst-ridden early Earth years.
Show will introduce viewers to the good looks Melissa Benoist, who plays Kara Zor-El, a young lass who escaped Krypton and has been hiding her magical gifts from those around her. Now 24, Kara decides to unleash her goodies – they being, er, her super powers.
CBS haven’t set a broadcast date for the show – which has been given a full-order – but that’ll likely be announced before Comic-Con.
