Aussie Frecheville takes on James Bond

Up-and-coming Aussie actor James Frecheville, who landed on the Tinseltown tram banner for his role in “Animal Kingdom” and hasn’t looked back (he won raves for his turn in “The Stanford Prison Experiment”, which bowed at Sundance), will play the bad guy in new Pierce Brosnan thriller “I.T”.

From director John Moore (“A Good Day to Die Hard”), the revenge techno-thriller will see former 007 Brosnan play a self-made businessman named Mike Ryan whose company is “on the verge of changing the aircraft-leasing business when his relationship with a young tech consultant (Frecheville) sours. The dude begins stalking Mike’s daughter (Stefanie Scott) and using technology to threaten his family, his business and his life. Bad idea”

In other words, it’s “Short Circuit” without Ally Sheedy… or Johnny 5.

Anna Friel is playign Brosnan’s wife.

The movie, which Brosnan’s Irish DreamTime are producing, was written by Dan Kay and William Wisher Jr. Production kicks off in Dublin shortly.
