Two separate reports today suggest that Imogen Poots and Tim Meadows are in line to join The Lonely Island’s Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone in new movie “Connor4real”.
The Wrap reports that Poots in in talks to play the love interest of Samberg’s character Connor while Deadline reports Meadows has joined the cast as Connor’s manager.
The film follows a rapper (Samberg) whose album bombs and leaves him with little career choice other than to re-form his old boy band.
Sarah Silverman is also reportedly attached to play Connor’s publicist.
Taccone and Shaffer are directing with Judd Apatow producing.
