Leonardo DiCaprio & Michael Bay team for biking movie

Leonardo DiCaprio and Michael Bay are in talks with Paramount to produce a film about the Rwandan national biking team.

THR brings the news, reporting DiCaprio will produce through his Warner Bros based company Appian Way while Bay will produce via his Bay Films.

Orlando von Einsiedel is attached to direct the film which will centre on Jacques “Jock” Boyer, the first American cyclist to race in the Tour de France.

After serving a year in jail and five years probation for child molestation, Boyer sought redemption in Rwanda where he and his wife lived and ran the Team Rwanda cycling team. One of the Team Rwanda members, Adrien Niyonshuti, made it to the 2012 London Olympics and competed in the cross-country mountain bike race.
