Rebecca Ferguson (“Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation”) is set to join Emily Blunt in “The Girl on the Train”.
Blunt will star in the role of alcoholic divorcée Rachel, while Ferguson is in negotiations to play Anna – the woman who married Rachel’s ex-husband.
The film follows Rachel, who fantasizes during her daily commute about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one day she sees something shocking happen there one morning and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.
Tate Taylor is on board to direct the film based on the Paula Hawkins novel.
