More names onboard as Twin Peaks shoot inches closer

If the Twittersphere is anything to go by (and why should it not be?) then we’ve a couple more names to add to Showtime’s ostensibly extensive cast roster on the “Twin Peaks” sequel series.

Sherilyn Fenn, everyone’s favourite , seems to be gearing up for an Audrey Horne reprise. The actress is showing off her new blonde (reminiscent of the look Fenn adorned in the ’80s flick “Two Moon Junction”) on the social nets while sharing near anything “Twin Peaks” that enters her news feed.  Clearly if she wasn’t involved in the new series she’d be staying clear of promoting it in any shape of fashion. Whaddya think Audrey’s up to these days? She in charge of the Great Northern – taking over from her pops, Ben – maybe? Or maybe she’s running some kind of shady, sexy business… the likes of which Jaques would’ve been right into it? Guess we’ll find out in due course. Either way, I think it goes without saying that Fenn was always set for the show. There’s no ”Peaks”, without Ms Horne.

Also coming back, by the sounds, is Michael Horse as Hawk. The production have apparently locked the Sheriff’s station location away again for filming, so it’s possible that the big guy is still a permanent face around those parts… or maybe he’s long retired but still a handy man for the authorities to check in on now and then, especially with those gifts of his.

While filming is expected to kick off any day now (if it hasn’t already) there’s already a hint online as to what one of those scenes might be : Filming is apparently set to take place on the main drag (via @twinpeaksarchve) next week around the newly-crafted ‘Drapes’ store – that’s presumably owned by Nadine (Wendie Robie).

Ironically, “The X Files” wrapped this week, just as “Twin Peaks” is about to begin.
