2,500 actors have auditioned for the role of a young Han Solo in Disney’s upcoming standalone “Star Wars” project.
That’s according to Heat Vision who list Dave Franco (“21 Jump Street”), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Avengers: Age of Ultron”), Miles Teller (“Fantastic Four”), Hunter Parish (“Weeds”), Rami Malek (“Mr. Robot”), Chandler Riggs (“The Walking Dead”), Leo Howard (“Kickin’ It”), Nick Robinson (“Jurassic World”), Ansel Elgort (“The Fault in Our Stars”), Jack Reynor (“Transformers : Age of Extinction”), Colton Haynes (“Arrow”) and Tom Felton (“Harry Potter”) among those who tested for the part of the young smuggler.
Penned by “Star Wars” vet Lawrence Kasdan and Joe Kasdan, and with Chris Miller and Phil Lord (“The Lego Movie”) onboard to direct, the film is still a year or so off from it’s production kickoff.. which gives Disney time to hire this kid as Solo :
