Marisa Tomei is joining “Empire” for it’s second season, according to THR.
The Oscar Winning “My Cousin Vinny” actress will play “Mimi Whiteman, a demanding venture capitalist who becomes involved with the Lyon family. The Forbes-list billionaire is a lover of hip-hop, social trends, high-end fashion and beautiful women.”
Other names that have appeared on the show include Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz and Adam Rodriguez.
Season 2 of “Empire” began filming in June.
