Tom Hooper’s take on the musical of “Les Miserables” is already filming and one of the film’s stars, Hugh Jackman, is absolutely loving how filming is going.
Taking to his Twitter account, the actor posted the following message:
Very excited about how the first days of filming are going!! Check out my convict look…but its changing soon.
He then followed the tweet by posting the pic above.
Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, the big screen adaptation tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption–a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Crowe) after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Anne Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.
