Marvel’s Daredevil reveals six supporting cast members

Marvel has announced six additions to its Netflix series “Daredevil”.

The studio revealed the names of the supporting cast members who will join previously announced cast members including Charlie Cox in the lead role.

The announced additions include Peter Shinkoda (“Hawaii 5-0”) as Nobu, a Japanese businessman with an agenda all his own; and Wai Ching Ho (“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit”) as Madame Gao, a powerful woman running her own trade.

Rob Morgan (“Person of Interest”) will play Turk Barrett, a smalltime criminal in Hell’s Kitchen who has previously stolen the armor of other supervillains (such as Stilt-Man and Maulred) to fight with Daredvil.

Matt Gerald (“Dexter”) will play Melvin Potter (aka the villain Gladiator), a machinist caught between a rock and a hard place. Gerald also had a villain role in a previous Marvel effort as “White Power Dave” in the “All Hail the King” One-Shot.

Nikolai Nikolaeff (“Sea Patrol”) and Gideon Emery (“Grimm”) were also announced as Vladimir and Anatoly, two Russian brothers looking to forge new names for themselves in America.

“With an already tremendous cast, these six actors help to fully flesh out Matt Murdock’s world and give life to Hell’s Kitchen,” said Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer/Marvel’s Head of Television. “We’ve been blessed to work with such amazing actors on this series to create a truly remarkable first season.”

The full 13 ep season will premiere on Netflix on April 10.
