MTV has premiered the first trailer for it’s upcoming “Scream” TV series.
Starring Bella Thorne (“The Duff”), the reimagining of Wes Craven’s classic film quadrilogy premieres June 30 on the network.
While it looks a little like a retread of the first “Scream” (1996) movie, it also seems to be infused with a “Pretty Little Liars” vibe. Expecting something less filmbuffy and more fluffy, but it might still be worth checking out.
What starts as a YouTube video going viral, soon leads to problems for the teenagers of Lakewood and serves as the catalyst for a murder that opens up a window to the town’s troubled past.
