The trailer for “The Foreigner”, starring Jackie Chan and Piece Brosnan, has been released.
The revenge thriller, from 007 director Martin Campbell (“Goldeneye”), opens in October. Chan plays a humble London businessman whose long-buried past erupts in a revenge-fueled vendetta when his teenage daughter is killed in a senseless act of politically motivated terrorism. He is relentless is the search for the terrorists, and he is forced into a cat-and-mouse conflict with a British government official (Brosnan) whose own past may hold clues to the killers’ identities.
