Following this year’s “Dracula Year Zero”, Universal has dated the next film in their [resurrected] monsters franchise.
The untitled film will open April 21, 2017. No word on what the project is (Frankenstein? Wolf Man? a Dracula Year Zero sequel?).
Alex Kurtzman (”Star Trek”) and Chris Morgan (”Fast & Furious”) are overseeing the project, just as they are the other films in the newly-launched monster series.
“The Mummy”, a reboot of the classic Boris Karloff-starring series (and later, relaunched as a franchise for Brendan Fraser), will open June 24, 2016.
