Debuting in cinemas next month, the hurried second follow-up to the low-cost scarefest by tyro filmmaker Oren Peli is actually a prequel, chronicling sisters Katie and Kristi’s (played Katie Featherston and Sprague Grayden) first encounter with the demon that has followed them throughout, er, a franchise.
This one has peaked my interest, if only because it’s directed by “Catfish” documentarians Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman.
