Ansel Elgort (“Divergent”, “The Fault in Our Stars”) is in early talks to star in the “Dungeons and Dragons” movie reboot for Warner Bros, says Deadline.
The pic, which Vin Diesel has also expressed interest in being a part of (being that he’s a big fan of the game), is a fantasy adventure centering on a warrior and his band of mystical creatures as they embark on a dangerous journey to find a mythical treasure.
Rob Letterman directs the film, with David Leslie Johnson (“The Conjuring 2”) scripting. Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis, Courtney Solomon, Allan Zeman, and Roy Lee will produce.
Justin Whalin (“Lois & Clark”) and Jeremy Irons starred in the original “Dungeons and Dragons” film.
