Jack Black will play Claptrap in the feature adaptation of the video game “Borderlands”. Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Hart and Cate Blanchett are also aboard the film, which Eli Roth is directing for Lionsgate.  “I am so excited to reunite with Jack, this time in the recording booth”, Roth, who worked with Black on “The House with a Clocks in its Walls”, said.  “Claptrap is the funniest character in the game, and Jack is perfect to bring him to the big screen”. Lily Gladstone (“Billions”) is set to star in Martin Scorsese’s film adaptation of the David Grann book, “Killers of the Flower Moon.” Set up at Apple, the film takes place in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts a string of brutal murders of Osage Nation Native Americans, which came to be known as the Reign of Terror. The Osage Nation, who were the richest people per capita in the world, were killed one by one after oil was discovered on their land. Det. Jake Peralta and the squad will be gathering for one final stakeout as NBC will air the eighth and final season of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” during the 2021-22 television season. ”

Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Rhys Ifans, and Sonoya Mizuno have joined the cast of “Game of Thrones” prequel, “The House of Dragon”. Based on George R.R. Martin’s book ”Fire & Blood”, the series will tell the story of House Targaryen (a.k.a. the House that gave us the Mother of Dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen) and take place 300 years before the events of ”Game of Thrones”.
