Brosnan returns to musicals for Cinderella

Former 007 Pierce Brosnan is set to follow up his controversial sing-a-long turn in “Mamma Mia!” with a part in Kay Cannon’s new live-action “Cinderella”.
The actor would join Camila Cabello, Billy Porter and Idina Menzel in the Columbia fairytale. Nicholas Galitzine is playing Prince Robert in the film, with Brosnan in talks to play his father.
The film, conceived by producer James Corden,  reimagines Cinderella as an ambitious young woman whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow.
