Where Art Thou Laurie Strode?
I was actually chatting to one of the crewmembers on Rob Zombie’s “Halloween” yesterday, so I can tell you one-hundred-percent that they still haven’t found their Laurie Strode. Apparently its been a difficult thing deciding which young actress should step into the slippers once worn by Jamie Lee Curtis and her bodacious bust.
As Agnes Bruckner (“The Woods”) tells Fangoria today, she isn’t one of them. Apparently she has n’teven met with Zombie, contrary to reports that she’s one of the frontrunners for the role.
“I don’t know where that came from,” she says. “It’s so weird, because my managers and agents haven’t heard anything, and I’m like ‘Really?’ because a lot of people keep asking me about it. It’s definitely something I’d be interested in,” she says coolly, then shrugs, laughing, “I haven’t seen any of Zombie’s movies, but I’d definitely be down for one; he seems like a cool guy.”
My vote is still with C.Thomas Howell as Strode.
