Owen Wilson is joining LaKeith Stanfield and Tiffany Hadish in Disney’s “Haunted Mansion”.

Based on the Disneyland attraction of the same name, the ensemble family film revolves around a unit moving into the ghost-ridden abode.

William Sadler (“The Shawshank Redemption”, “Demon Knight”) has joined the cast of New Line’s “Salem’s Lot” from director Gary Dauberman.

The veteran thesp, seen recently in “Bill and Ted Face the Music”, revealed his casting on Twitter. No details on character.

Lewis Pullman (“Bad Times at the El Royale”, “Top Gun : Maverick”) will play Ben Mears in the film.

 

Nicolas Cage will star in his first ever western “The Old Way” for director Brett Donowho.

In the Carl W.Lucas-written pic, the “Mandy” star plays Colton Briggs, a former gunslinger who now runs a general store and lives quietly with his family. When a gang of outlaws murders his wife in cold blood, Briggs returns home to find his world burning. He unearths his sidearm and saddles up with an unlikely partner: his twelve-year-old daughter.

Steve Howey (“Shameless”, Stuber”) will star in the TV reboot of “True Lies” for CBS and creator Matt Nix.

The series, like the movie, follows Harry Tasker, “a benign, play-it-safe, seemingly risk-averse computer salesman and devoted family man, married with two kids. But in reality, Harry is an undercover operative, a first-class spy working for a covert U.S. Intelligence organization.

Like the film, Harry’s unfulfilled suburban wife is propelled into a life of danger and adventure when she’s recruited to work alongside him to save the world as they try to revitalize their passionless marriage.”
