Christina Hendricks is the Bomb

At least this role will help people forget she was in the box-office bomb (no pun intended) “I Don’t Know How She Does It”….but I just reminded you all of that and it’s nothing you’ll miss if you check her IMDB resume so sorry about that.

Moving on, The Daily Mail is reporting that “Mad Men” actress Christina Hendricks, who plays Joan Harris on the AMC hit show, will be stuck in the ’60s even longer now. TDM says that Hendricks is in talks to appear in Sally Potter’s anti-nuclear movie, “Bomb”, which is also based in that decade.

The picture focuses on two teenage rebels, played by Elle Fanning and Alice Englart, who become involved in the Ban the Bomb movement and the sexual revolution. Alessandro Nivola (2008’s “The Eye” and last year’s “Howl”), has also been cast in “Bomb”, and Annette Bening is considering a part in the film.

Although no other descriptions for the characters have been released yet, director Sally Potter and producer Christopher Sheppard plan to shoot the film in February in London and on the South-East coast.
