Christopher Nolan is seemingly calling near all the shots on Man of Steel

The producer of “Man of Steel” must have some sway.

Hans Zimmer, who scored Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight Rises”, has been retained to compose the music for the Nolan-produced Superman reboot.

The Hollywood Reporter notes it’s the fifth time Zimmer and Nolan would have worked together. Aside from the Batman films, Zimmer also provided the tunes for Nolan’s “Inception”.

“Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder usually works with composer Tyler Bates on his films – including “Watchmen” and “300” – so the fact that Zimmer’s gotten the job on his latest film proves just how much say Nolan has at the table on “Man of Steel”.
