As reported here a few days back, Glen Powell is now confirmed to be in talks to headline Universal’s Twisters.
Powell, whose standout 2022 can be attributed to fantastic turns in the blockbuster Top Gun : Maverick and the critically acclaimed Devotion, is said to be the male lead in the film.
Though it was originally intended to feature returning characters from Twister (1996) – namely Helen Hunt’s Dr. Jo Harding, with the main character being her offspring with on-screen husband (the late) Bill Paxton – latest reports suggest the film will now be a complete stand alone without any links to previous event.
