Earlier this week news broke that “Harry Potter” character Dumbledore will be in the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” sequel.
At a press conference on Thursday afternoon, JK Rowling confirmed the news and gave away a few more details as to the character’s role in the movie.
“You will see Dumbledore as a younger man and quite a troubled man,” said Rowling.
The “Harry Potter” author was asked about Dumbledore’s sexuality, and his relationship with Grindelwald (to be played by Johnny Depp).
“This is obviously a five-part story, there’s lots to unpack in that relationship,” said Rowling. “We’ll see him at that formative period of his life. As far as his sexuality is concerned, watch this space.”
