Emma Stone in talks for Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak

“Spider-Man” squeeze Emma Stone is in talks to headline Guillermo del Toro’s “Crimson Peak”, says Variety.

All that’s known about the film, which is currently undergoing a rewrite by del Toro and Lucinda Coxon, is that it’s a Haunted House thriller.

The film, set to shoot Feb 2014, is being produced and financed by Legendary Pictures.

Stone’s a busy girl; she’s currently playing the gangster’s moll in Warner’s “Gangster Squad”, recently lent her lungs to the upcoming animated flick “The Croods”, will soon be seen in the all-star comedy “Movie 43”, is circling a new Cameron Crowe project, and is gearing up to shoot the “Amazing Spider-Man” sequel.
