Expendables 4 and Expendabelles still on!

Despite the career boost he’s received with the award-winning “Creed”, Sylvester Stallone seemingly won’t be forgetting his dyed-in-the-wool hardcore action fans.

According to Sly’s “Expendables” co-star Randy Couture, a fourth film in the series is in the works. Originally, “Expendables 4” was to shoot as early as the Fall, but the long-proposed all-female version “The Expendabelles” has nudged ahead of it.

“I heard they had a script they were adapting for ‘(The Expendables) 4’ and that we were going to start shooting for ‘4’ in the fall,” Couture told The NY Daily News. “Now I’m hearing it might be pushed back and ‘The Expendabelles’ might be back on the docket.”

A number of actresses have long been rumoured for roles in the “Expendabelles” – Naomi Watts, Meryl Streep, Kate Beckinsale, Milla Jovovich, Katee Sackhoff, Li Bingbing and Mila Kunis- but one of those actors, the legendary Sigourney Weaver, received ans offer and passed. Too bad.
