Fantastic Beasts adds three more

Gemma Chan, Carmen Ejogo and Jon Voight have joined the cast of J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” spinoff “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”.

Production is currently underway in England with David Yates directing from Rowling’s screenplay.

Eddie Redmayne stars opposite Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Dan Fogler and Samantha Morton.

“Fantastic Beasts” is based on the Hogwarts textbook of the same name. Set in New York about seven decades before the “Harry Potter” story, the book follows the adventures of its author, Newt Scamander (Redmayne), a “magiczoologist”, or a person who studies magical creatures.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” opens on November 18, 2016.

THR first reported the news.
