Director of the highly anticipated sequel to last year’s “Wonder Woman”, Patty Jenkins, has revealed the first look at Kristen Wiig’s character in “Wonder Woman 1984”. Wiig will be playing Barbara Minerva, otherwise known as Cheetah.
Wiig is shown as Minerva in the picture, so we’ve yet to see her as alter-ego Cheetah – which I bet is what we’re all waiting for. In the comics, Minerva is an archeologist who is granted the power of the cheetah by the ancient plant god Urzkartaga.
Other cast in the upcoming flick include Gal Gadot returning as title character Diana Prince, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Ewen Bremmer (Charlie), Said Taghmaoui (Sameer), Connie Nielson (Queen Hippolyta), Lisa Loven Kongsli (Menalippe), Doutzen Kroes (Venelia) and new addition Pedro Pascal is an unnamed role.
