Fox, now under the ownership of Pluto Pup, has handed a pink-slip to Marvel series “The Gifted”.
The series, written by Matt Nix, snagged some good reviews out of the gate but dipped ratings-wise in its sophomore season, which wrapped in February. Still, there’s hope that the Amy Acker-Stephen Moyer ‘mutant’ hour may find a new home on Disney’s streaming service Disney Plus – not that they haven’t already got enough content for it. But even if it does, it’s unlikely we’ll see a third season before 2020 at the earliest.
