‘From the makers of Twilight and Clash of the Titans comes…’

Captain here,

Summit, home to the ”Twilight” films, has tapped “Clash of the Titans” helmer Louis Letterier to direct the heist flick “Now You See Me”.

Penned by Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt, the film is about an FBI squad that chases a team of illusionists who pull off daring bank robberies during their performances and who share the spoils with their audiences while staying a step ahead of the law.

The Hollywood Reporter
says it’s Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, of “Transformers” and “Star Trek” fame, are onboard to produce so there’s some good players on the team at least.

I like Louis Letterier, he did “Incredible Hulk” (undoubtedly one of my favorite Marvel comic movies) and made Jason Statham a star with his “Transporter” movies but “Titans” didn’t do much to widen his fan club.
Hopefully this will be better.

MGM’s house is clean, Poltergeist 4 on the way!?
