According to Batman On Film, Guy Pearce might still be making an appearance as Harvey Dent in “Batman Begins”.
Says the site, “Two separate scoopers–one new, and one longtime source–emailed me today with the same rumor. And I said rumor, so take it as such. In the script, Harvey Dent is only mentioned, and he’s never seen in person. Nonetheless, both sources said they heard that Asst. D.A. Harvey Dent could make a small cameo in BATMAN BEGINS. And Guy Pearce may play Dent in this scenario. This is hardly set in stone, but I will say that if Pearce agreed to the role, he could easily by inserted into the film. BOF’s longtime source says that even if Pearce/Dent appears in the film, this does not mean that Two-Face will be in the sequel–or the one after….”
In addition, BOF reports that an American has been cast in the film, possibly in the role of Thomas Wayne.
