Hailee Steinfeld (“Bumblebee”) is in negotiations to join Jeremy Renner in the Disney+ series “Hawkeye”.
According to Variety, the small-screen MCU spin-off sees Renner’s Clint Baton pass the torch to Kate Bishop (Steinfeld), a member of the group known as the Young Avengers and first female to take the Hawkeye name after Barton.
“Hawkeye” is merely one of several series based on Marvel characters in the works for Disney’s new streaming service, which launches November 12.
