Disney are looking at Ansel Elgort (”The Fault in Our Stars”), Taron Egerton (”The Secret Service”), George Mackay (”Pride”), Brenton Thwaites (”The Giver’), and Sam Keeley (“In the Heart of the Sea”) as possibilities for the a co-starring role in the next “Pirates of the Caribbean”.
“Pirates of the Caribbean : Dead Men Tell No Tales”, set to shoot in Australia, has Johnny Depp fixed-in to reprise Captain Jack Sparrow, and Javier Bardem playing the part of a villainous Ghost Pirate.
Assumingly, one of the young actors above would be playing a similar role to that of the one Orlando Bloom played in the first “Pirates” movie.
The “Pirates” sail again July 7, 2017.
