’90s men-of-action Alec Baldwin (“The Hunt for Red October”) and Danny Glover (the “Lethal Weapon” series) team for the sci-fi/action film “Andron” from AMBI Pictures.
The Hollywood Reporter has this :
Andron begins when a group of young men and women awake in a dark, claustrophobic maze. They don’t remember who they are or how they got stuck in the black labyrinth. The group must learn to decipher codes, understand the signals and beat the tests in a mysterious and bizarre place. Out of necessity, they struggle to form a bond to survive, while the outside world watches and wages bets on their fates. Baldwin and Glover join a cast that also includes Michelle Ryan (BBC’s EastEnders), Skin (lead singer from the U.K. band Skunk Anansie), Jon Kortajarena (A Single Man), Gale Harold (Queer as Folk) and Leo Howard (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra).
Franceso Cinquemani wrote the screenplay and is directing the film, which marks his feature directorial debut.
Principal photograph kicks off in Malta; the film is being made in collaboration with the Malta Film Commission.
