Legendary have been playing musical chairs with a couple of their upcoming blockbusters.
Firstly, they’ve shifted “Kong : Skull Island” – a prequel to the classic “King Kong” – from November 4, 2016 to March 10, 2017. The film hails from Jordan Vogt-Roberts (“The Kings of Summer”) and will be released in both 3D and IMAX 3D.
Legendary and Universal have also agreed to release Zhang Yimou’s untitled Great Wall Project on November 23, 2016. That too will be in 3D and IMAX 3D. This one marks Yimou’s English-language debut.
