William H.Macy and Joan Allen are joining Brie Larson in “Room”, a Lenny Abrahamson directed picture based on the book by Emma Donoghue.
Per The Hollywood Reporter :
The book, published in 2010, is told from five-year-old Jack’s (Tremblay) perspective. He describes the small “Room” he lives in with his Ma (Larson). He considers it home, but to Ma, it’s a prison. She has managed to create a childhood for her son in their 10-by-10-foot space, but as Jack’s curiosity is building alongside Ma’s own desperation — she knows that Room cannot contain either indefinitely.
Sean Bridgers (”Rectify”), Tom McCamus (”The Samaritan”) and Megan Park (”What If”) co-star in the picture, lensing in Toronto.
Macy and Allen previously co-starred in “Pleasantville” together :
