Virginia Madsen and Patrick Warburton have joined the cast of Aussie thriller “Safe Neighborhood”.
The Chris Peckover directed film, currently lensing in Sydney, features Levi Miller, Olivia DeJonge and Ex Oxenbould – the latter two reuniting after M.Night Shyamalan’s 2015 spooker “The Visit”.
Per Deadline, the pic is set in a quiet American suburb on a snowy evening on the lead up to Christmas, with Ashley (DeJonge), the regular babysitter for Deandra (Madsen) and Robert Lerner (Warburton), having to defend their 12-year-old son (Miller) from strangers breaking into the house — only to discover that this is far from a normal home invasion.
Produced by Storm Vision Entertainment and Bad Medicine, the pic was written by Zack Kahn and Peckover.
